Cupsy started as a notepad of recommendations to anyone asking. It is still that: just simply put on a map so you can find them from wherever you’re standing.
How a cafe gets on the map
We find it, or someone suggests it
A name, a city and a reason. That’s all it takes — no account, no form-filling marathon.
We check the coffee
Curated by hand. If it isn’t good, it doesn’t go on the map — however many stars it has elsewhere.
You keep it honest
Help the gang by voting using the tags, we do our best to keep track of the locations and opening hours.
What Cupsy is not
Every cafe on the map is one we’d recommend. There are no stars to compare, only tags to help you pick.
No cafe has paid to be here and we’ll keep it that way. Pins are sorted by distance, nothing else.
Your location is used once to center the map and never stored. No accounts, no cookies that follow you home.
We try not to include chains, unless they’re truly special. Sorry to say, diner cafés won’t make it either; we’re passionate about the brew.
